Our story

We Started WithA Harder Question

Revoral began in a dental chair in Lucknow, with a patient who had done everything right and still could not hold on to his gums.

The gap we kept seeing

Every dentist in our founding team had the same week, over and over. A patient would come in with bleeding gums, stained enamel and a habit they were ashamed of. We would clean, we would counsel, we would hand over a prescription mouthwash meant for two weeks of post-surgical use.

Four months later the same patient would be back, worse. Not because the advice was wrong, but because nothing we gave them was built for the life they were actually living — a life with tobacco in it, with long shifts, with a routine that did not pause for oral care.

What the shelf was missing

Indian oral care had two shelves. One sold freshness: mint, foam, a pleasant thirty seconds. The other sold clinical intervention: high-alcohol antiseptics designed for short, supervised courses.

Nothing sat in between. Nothing was formulated for the roughly one in four Indian adults who use tobacco, whose mouths face a very specific combination of dryness, acidity, staining and inflammation every single day.

Building the thing we wanted to prescribe

Q-Puff started as a formulation brief written by dentists rather than a marketing team. Alcohol-free, because alcohol dries a mouth that is already dry. pH-elevated, because tobacco leaves the oral environment acidic. Fortified with Coenzyme Q10, because gum tissue under constant assault needs help repairing itself.

Then we went further than a rinse. Tobacco is not only an oral problem — it is a neurological one. The Neuro-Oral Tobacco Wellness Formula and the Q-Puff TCC programme exist because cleaning a mouth without addressing the craving is treating the smoke and ignoring the fire.

Where we are now

Revoral is a brand of Picatrix Pharmaceuticals Private Limited, based in Lucknow. We are still dentist-led, still small enough that the people who formulate the products answer the emails, and still measuring every new idea against the same three questions: does it fit a real habit, does it hold up to hygiene science, and does it move someone's health forward.
