1. What is Coenzyme Q10 and how does it help?

CoQ10 is a powerful antioxidant that is naturally present in nearly every cell of our
body. It aids in regeneration of other antioxidants, promotes cell growth, and
decreases cell death.
CoQ10, being a potent antioxidant, combats/ scavenges free radicals generated in
our body by the use of alcohol based products, smoking, fried food, some medicines
& even air pollutants and protects our body from oxidative stress.
In recent studies, CoQ10 has been found to have potential anti-cancer properties
and may help prevent the growth and spread of oral cancer cells.
CoQ10 also helps promote the healing of oral wounds, such as mouth ulcers and
sores.
2. What role does Pomegranate peel extract play in the formulation?

Punica granatum (Pomegranate peel extract) - It has anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant, and antifungal properties. Pomegranate is beneficial to enteric probiotic
bacteria (bacteria in our gut/ stomach) and prevents destruction of good oral
bacterias. It has improved the growth of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus species.
These probiotic bacterias are known to inhibit gum & periodontal pathogen growth.
The pomegranate peel contains punicalagin, which has potent antifungal activity
against Candida albicans (C. albicans), the causative agent of Oral Candidiasis.

3. What role does Green tea extract play in the formulation?

Camellia sinensis (green tea extract) – Green tea and polyphenols play an
important role in the prevention of periodontal and other oral diseases due to their
antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and most importantly, cancer preventive
properties. Green tea mouthwash can effectively reduce microbial load in the oral
cavity, prevent the formation of dental plaque, and improve bacterial
infection-induced oral malodor.
Tea catechins prevent the formation of volatile sulphur compounds, which is a major
cause of bad breath.
4. What role does Vitamin C play in this formulation?

Vitamin C reduces the inflammatory response in periodontal disease, and vitamin C
supplementation has been shown to improve gum health. It has antioxidant
properties to scavenge free radicals and plays a crucial role in preventing and
slowing the progression of periodontal disease.
According to studies, vitamin C helps prevent the development of dental caries.
Vitamin C helps in collagen synthesis, which is an important protein in the formation,
support, and maintenance of teeth.

5. Why have you added Hyaluronic acid to the mouthwash?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is an important naturally occurring component of both soft
periodontal tissues, such as gingiva and periodontal ligament, and hard tissue, such
as alveolar bone and cementum. HA has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and pain
relieving properties. The primary function of HA is healing and moisturising tissues in
our mouth.
Hyaluronic Acid also blocks painful teeth sensitivity at the source and is uniquely
formulated to provide relief from sensitivity.
It is clinically proven to remove plaque & prevent tartar build-up.

6. What is Xylitol?

Xylitol is a natural sugar found in some plants & has antimicrobial properties against
different microorganisms. Xylitol also prevents dental caries and prevents plaque
build-up . Xylitol is clinically proven to increase flow of saliva in the mouth which
helps combat conditions like xerostomia (dry mouth).

7. What is Erythritol?

Erythritol is a naturally occurring polyol that effectively reduces dental plaque weight
and adherence of common streptococcal oral bacteria to tooth surfaces.
It is tooth friendly and thus inhibits growth and activity of caries causing bacteria and
decreases the overall number of dental caries.
It contains zero calories, making it an ideal sugar substitute for diabetics.
Mouthwash - Learn in general about mouthwash, its benefits & use.

1. Why should I use a mouthwash if I brush my teeth daily?

We don’t recommend replacing your brushing + flossing routine with the
mouthwash. But we definitely encourage you to add it to your oral care
regimen for better results!
Brushing and flossing covers only around 25% of the surface of your mouth
thus leaving food debris and plaque biofilm behind even after you brush and
floss. Leftover germs, plaque may cause gum problems, plaque accumulation
and even bad breath. A mouthwash reaches your whole mouth between teeth
and gums to remove plaque, germs and reduce gum problems.

2. Benefits of Mouthwash and uses.

Maintaining good oral hygiene is important for your overall health. Let’s look
at the benefits of using mouthwash for oral health & wellness.
A mouthwash helps to remove food debris and plaque that is stuck between
teeth where a toothbrush might not reach.
Using mouthwash for gums can help you protect your gums from infections.
Revoral’s Q-Puff mouthwash is formulated with Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin C
to keep your gums healthy.
A mouthwash may help you from intra-oral inflammation, oxidative stress,
fungal infections and various oral diseases. Revoral’s Q-Puff mouthwash is
activated with powerful antioxidants such as Coenzyme Q10,
Pomegranate peel extract, Green tea extract, Sodium hyaluronate and
Vitamin C to help protect your mouth from these.
Mouthwash helps lower the bad bacteria count in our mouth and protects you
from bad breath and cavities (tooth decay). Alcohol-free and pH balancing
mouthwash act mainly against the bad bacteria, balancing your oral
microbiome and preventing bad breath.
A mouthwash for sensitive teeth helps in reducing tooth sensitivity so that you
can have hot or cold food with ease.
● An alcohol-free, toxin free, xylitol based mouthwash can help you prevent dry
mouth and conditions like xerostomia by maintaining the natural flow of saliva.
● A mouthwash can help in balancing the pH of your mouth, prevent dysbiosis
and protect from tooth decay. Revoral’s Q-Puff mouthwash is the one with
elevated pH.
3. Why should I be using an alcohol-free mouthwash?

Conventional mouthwashes contain about 26% alcohol. This is roughly 6x the
concentration of alcohol found in beer. Rinsing with these mouthwashes can
lead to drying out of the mouth and disrupt the oral microbiome - the complex
of bacteria in your mouth that performs several crucial functions..
A dry mouth can then lead to worsened bad breath, sloughing of the skin on
the inside of your cheeks, and an overly acidic pH in your mouth—all of which
interfere with the tooth remineralization process and put you at a higher risk of
cavities.
4. Alcohol v/s Alcohol-Free Mouthwash?
Mouthwash With Alcohol
1.Causes burning sensation in mouth
2.Kills both good bad bacteria
3.Disrupts bacterial balance in our
   mouth (causes Dysbiosis)
5.Results in dry mouth
Alcohol-free Mouthwash
1.No burning sensation in mouth
2.Disrupts only bad bacteria
3.Maintains healthy microbiome in
   mouth.
4.Doesn’t give rise to dry mouth
5. Can mouthwash be used daily?

A mouthwash can be used daily to maintain your oral wellness. Use a toxin free,
alcohol free, chlorhexidine and CPC free mouthwash to maintain your oral health.

6. What is the best mouthwash for people into smoking and tobacco chewing ?

Use a powerful antioxidant based anti-inflammatory, anti-plaque, anti-fungal, gum
protective and pH elevating mouthwash which is also toxin free and alcohol free.

decay.
